Building mesh is a mesh building material welded with high-quality low-carbon steel wire, stainless steel wire, etc. The following is its advantages, uses and process introduction (2-6 cm small wire diameter):
Advantages
High strength: Although the wire diameter is small, through reasonable weaving or welding process, the building mesh can form a stable structure with high tensile strength and bearing capacity, which can effectively enhance the stability of the building structure.
Good flexibility: The small wire diameter of 2-6 cm makes the mesh have a certain flexibility, which is convenient for bending, cutting and installation during the construction process, and can adapt to building components of different shapes and sizes.
Good economy: The use of small wire diameter steel is relatively small, which can reduce material costs while meeting the requirements of the building structure. At the same time, due to the high production efficiency and convenient installation of the mesh, construction time and labor costs can be reduced.
Good air permeability and water permeability: The pore structure of the mesh allows air and moisture to flow freely to a certain extent, which is very beneficial for some building parts that need ventilation or drainage, such as basement walls, slope protection, etc., which can avoid problems caused by water accumulation or air stagnation.
Smooth surface: The surface of the building mesh made of small wire diameter is relatively smooth, and it is not easy to have sharp corners or protrusions. It is not easy to cause harm to the construction workers during the construction process, and it is also conducive to the subsequent decoration and renovation work.
Application
Wall reinforcement: In the wall of the building, the use of building mesh can improve the crack resistance and overall strength of the wall, and effectively prevent the wall from cracking due to temperature changes, foundation settlement and other reasons. It is especially suitable for lightweight walls and filling walls of high-rise buildings.
Concrete pouring: As a reinforcement in the concrete structure, the building mesh can evenly distribute the stress inside the concrete, improve the tensile and shear resistance of the concrete, thereby enhancing the durability and safety of the concrete components. It is often used in structural components such as floor slabs, roof panels, beams, and columns.
Ground treatment: In ground construction, such as ground leveling layer, floor heating protective layer, etc., laying building mesh can prevent ground cracking, improve the flatness and bearing capacity of the ground, and also help to evenly distribute heat.
Slope protection and retaining wall: used in slope protection and retaining wall projects, building mesh can fix soil, prevent soil erosion and slope collapse, and play a role in reinforcement and protection.
Other uses: it can also be used in ceilings, partitions and other parts of building decoration to play a supporting and fixing role; it can also be used as a structural material in some temporary buildings or simple buildings.
Process
Wire drawing: the purchased high-quality wire rod is drawn into the required 2-6 cm small wire diameter steel wire through a wire drawing machine. During the wire drawing process, the wire drawing die and wire drawing process parameters are adjusted to control the diameter accuracy and surface quality of the steel wire to meet the specified standard requirements.
Welding: using the resistance spot welding process, the drawn steel wire is cross-welded on a special welding equipment according to the mesh size and mesh specifications required by the design. During welding, pressure and current are applied through the electrode to make the intersection of the steel wire reach high temperature in a short time to form a firm weld.
