Active protection net
Advantages
Good protection performance: It can effectively intercept and buffer the impact of falling rocks and flying rocks, protect the personnel, buildings and roads below from harm, and has high protection reliability.
Strong flexibility: It adopts high-strength wire mesh and flexible connection system, which can adapt to the changes of different terrain and geological conditions, has good adaptability to slopes, and can be installed along the slope.
Good water permeability: The mesh structure allows rainwater to penetrate, and will not cause additional pressure on the slope due to water accumulation, which is conducive to protecting the stability of the slope, and also reduces the risk of damage to the protection net due to poor drainage.
Use: It is mainly used in mountain roads, railways, mines and other areas prone to geological disasters such as landslides and falling rocks, to actively protect the slopes and prevent disasters from threatening transportation facilities and personnel safety; it can also be used for the perimeter protection of some construction sites, as well as the protection of areas where there may be risks of falling objects from high altitudes.
Process: The active protection net is usually composed of wire rope nets, wire grids, anchor rods, support ropes and other components. First, according to the design requirements, holes are drilled on the slope surface, and anchor rods are inserted and fixed. The anchor rods are used to provide stable support points. Then, the wire grid is laid as the bottom layer of protection, and the wire rope net is laid on the grid. The net is fixed to the anchor rods through support ropes and suture ropes to form a complete protection system. During the installation process, it is necessary to strictly follow the construction specifications to ensure that the connection of each component is firm and reliable, and the tension and spacing of the protection net meet the design requirements.
